Youper: This is an automated intelligence (AI) app that will text you and check in with you. It will then reply based on your response and have a conversation. It also logs mood.
Atmosphere: This app provides many different ambient and natural soundscapes to help relax or meditate.
Wysa: Wysa checks in with you and gives you the space to vent or journal about your emotions or mood so you can learn about yourself.
Down Dog | Yoga: This app allows you to select what type of yoga, your skill level, time, and many other choices. It then creates a personalized video for you to follow. They have other apps too!
Repeat Alarm: This is an Android all that creates a timer that repeats as often as you like. Set it for every 30-60 minutes to remind you to relax your body, breath, be mindful, and be present.
Calm: Calm is well known. Open it to see multiple videos of nature, many ambient and natural sounds, and many guided meditations to relax and be mindful.
Repeat Timer: This is an Iphone all that creates a timer that repeats as often as you like. Set it for every 30-60 minutes to remind you to relax your body, breath, be mindful, and be present.
Insight Timer: My #1 app. This has a timer to meditate, endless guided meditations, sound meditations, and lessons. It is also a gigantic online community for discussion and support.
Moodspace: Research driven app. Answer three questions, journal your mood, meditate, plan your day, and many more tools. Beautifully design also.
Breathly: Very simple and effective app. Open it and hit one button to follow along with a visual guide to control your breathing and relax your body.
Equoo: This is an emotional fitness game backed by evidence-based research. It teaches you a lot about various mental health concepts.
Antistress: I love this app. It has a ton of different activities like a fidget spinner or chopping block. Basic activities to focus on to help with anxiety.
iBreathe: Adjust the settings to the level you want, for example, how many cycles of breath you want to do, how long you would like to hold the breath, how long will be an inhale, an exhale, and so on.
Box Breathing: You will learn the power of conscious control of your lungs. Breathe free and easy. Don’t think about problems.
Stop, Breathe & Think: There is a lot of content in this app to focus on mindfulness and relaxation. They have videos for free on YouTube as well.
Relax: Stress and Anxiety Relief: Your only purpose is to focus and concentrate. The music changes for every phase of breathing.
Breathe+: I love this app because you can customize how long you want the in breath, hold, out breath, and pause to be and then create a visualization. Only on Iphone when I posted this.
Todoist: Something different! I use this app to keep track of all the things I want to do so I can get all those tasks and ideas out of my head! Organize multiple lists and even share with a friend.
MY3: This is for people who deal with suicide or crisis moments. It connects to emergency contacts, has 24/7 support, and many other resources for times of crisis to keep you safe.
