Vibroacoustic Therapy
Vibroacoustic therapy (VAT) utilizes low frequency sound waves, typically between 25Hz-120Hz, to stimulate various responses in the body. Research mainly existed in Scandanavia staring in the 1980's and has begun to build in the US, with clinical trials showing evidence that it can assist in decreasing symptoms of Alzheimers, decrease pain in fibromyalgia and due to nerve issues, increase blood flow, and many other health benefits. Research is showing that it is useful at decreasing anxiety and even depression.
